Wabash, IN -— The Wabash County Museum is proud to announce recent staff promotions that reflect the organization’s continued growth and commitment to cultivating local talent.
Among those promoted is Hope Schoening, who has been named Marketing Manager. Hope’s journey with the Museum began in January 2023 when she joined the team as an intern from Wabash High School. Following her graduation, she transitioned into a full-time role as Marketing Coordinator, where she quickly became an integral member of the team. Hope is also a full time college student, attending Indiana University Kokomo.
In her new role as Marketing Manager, Hope will continue to oversee content creation and graphic design for all marketing campaigns and social media platforms. She also collaborates closely with the Museum team on exhibit development, creating signage while also ensuring that each new experience is thoughtfully promoted. Moving into the manager position allows Hope to expand her leadership responsibilities and play an active role in shaping the Museum’s overall marketing strategy.
“Hope’s creativity, dedication, and passion for our mission have made a significant impact on our organization,” said Teresa Galley, Executive Director. “We are excited to see her continue to grow as she takes on a larger role in guiding our marketing efforts.”
Ella Colvin joined the Museum as a Wabash High School intern in August 2024. In the fall 2025, she transitioned into a full-time position as Guest Engagement Coordinator. In her role, Ella is often the first face visitors see at the welcome desk. She works closely with membership sales and service, helping cultivate strong relationships with the Museum’s members and guests. Ella also assists in the gift shop, supporting merchandising efforts and managing the Museum’s eBay account. Ella is working toward her degree in Business at IUK.
“Ella plays an integral role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our guests and members,” said Teresa Galley, Executive Director. “Her enthusiasm and attention to detail strengthen our daily operations and enhance the overall visitor experience.”
Following in the footsteps of her co-workers, Logan Wright joined the museum in January 2026 as a high school intern. Logan is a senior at Wabash High School. During her internship, she will have the opportunity to see many facets of the museum’s operations.
The Wabash County Museum remains committed to fostering local talent and investing in professional growth within its organization. These promotions reflect the Museum’s dedication to preservation, education and innovation while serving the Wabash community and beyond.
