Hampton Inn Celebrates Grand Opening in Wabash

October 13, 2020

Wabash County, IN __Grow Wabash County was thrilled to welcome Hampton Inn Wabash during its grand opening celebration on Friday, Oct. 9.

Owners Raj Chandat and Suresh Patel were joined by the Wabash County community as well as family, friends and managers of their other area properties for a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the opening celebration. Chandat paid tribute to the support he and his team had received from the City of Wabash, Grow Wabash County and Halderman Real Estate & Farm Management to make their plans a reality.

The ribbon-cutting was followed by a reception and tours of the various amenities at the hotel.

“We are thrilled to see the beautiful Hampton Inn Wabash open to the public,” Keith Gillenwater, President and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “As Wabash County grows as a tourist destination in the Midwest, the need for quality accommodations like the Hampton Inn Wabash are essential. The hotel provides an incredible all-around experience for all of its guests and will certainly be a strong factor in attracting more people to visit Wabash County again and again.”

Grow Wabash County has worked closely with Hampton Inn since the hotel broke ground in July 2018. Upon finishing construction last month, the Hampton Inn Wabash held a soft opening and began welcoming guests. The new hotel features a modern lobby and lounge area as well as high-quality amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center, conference meeting rooms and a paved patio area.
