Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County is pleased to welcome Solomon France to the team as its high school intern for the fall semester.

Solomon is a contemporary senior at Wabash High School. He is interested in business, specifically entrepreneurship, and plans on pursuing a degree in entrepreneurship from Northern Michigan University with a minor in music.

Solomon will have the opportunity to have hands-on experiences related to the field of business through Grow Wabash County by assisting the team with a variety of projects and events related to providing support and services to businesses in Wabash County as well as to helping local entrepreneurs get the jump they need to start their own businesses.

“We are excited to have Solomon as a member of the Grow Wabash County team this fall,” Keith Gillenwater, president and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “Fall is a very busy and exciting time in our office, so Solomon will get a firsthand look at the work that goes into growing our communities and will even help us on projects that will make a real impact on how Wabash County grows and thrives.”

A long term goal of Solomon’s is to own a business that is successful and sufficient and he is excited to learn more about this during his internship with Grow Wabash County. Through this internship, Solomon will enjoy plenty of new opportunities and experiences to gain insight into navigating the business world and as well as a better understanding of how businesses work.

At Wabash High School, Solomon is a captain of the soccer team and a kicker for the football team. He also loves music; whether it's listening to it or playing the guitar, music is his passion. When wanting to get his hands dirty, he enjoys fixing and working on cars. He likes learning how things work mechanically and sees a challenge in trying to fix them.

Grow Wabash County is a strong supporter of internships and is confident that the connections made between students and employers during these internships are invaluable to both parties.
