Wabash County, IN (March 2, 2023) – Grow Wabash County has partnered with Nathan Grossman of GHD Unlimited to host an interactive Lunch & Learn workshop on Monday, April 3, for Wabash County small businesses looking to boost their presence in the digital world.

The workshop, “Your Place in Local Search,” will see Grossman sharing easy to implement strategies that will help small business owners raise brand awareness and increase their online searchability.

“Now more than ever, the consumer shift to digital marketspaces is moving at a rapid pace,” Madison Waldon, project manager for operations and development at Grow Wabash County, said. “At Grow Wabash County, we want to equip our small business community with all of the tools they need to stay relevant and competitive in this changing business landscape.”

GHD Unlimited believes the phrase “small business” is a misnomer because they are a massive part of the economy and drive much of our communities' hiring and economic stability. Small businesses must get the word out about what they offer and how they improve their customers’ lives, and online marketing is a great way to do that.

"It can be tough to start and grow a small business,” Nathan Grossman, CEO of GHD Unlimited, said. “You have to do many things to get your business off the ground, and knowing where to start is hard. You feel like you're constantly playing catch-up."

This event will take place on Monday, April 3, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Grow Wabash County conference room, 214 South Wabash Street in Wabash. Lunch will be provided.

Admission to the workshop will be free to Grow Wabash County investors and $10 for non-investors. Registration is required as space is limited.

Small business owners interested in signing up for this hands-on event can do so at www.growwabashcounty.com/GHDworkshop or by contacting Grow Wabash County at info@growwabashcounty.com or by calling 260-563-5258.
