GWC Investors invited to exclusive legislative updates with Yakym, Zay & Sweet
March 11, 2025
Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County is thrilled to be hosting two different legislative updates exclusively for Grow Wabash County investors.
This spring, Grow Wabash County will host a legislative update with Congressman Rudy Yakym on Tuesday, April 22, followed by one on Wednesday, May 7, with state legislators Senator Andy Zay and Representative Lorissa Sweet.
As the joint chamber of commerce and economic development group for Wabash County, these events strive to provide a platform for its members to use to connect with and appeal to the people who speak on their behalf in legislative matters.
"These legislative update events provide a valuable opportunity for our investors to connect directly with those who represent them in government,” Jana Thibos, project manager for investor services and events, said. “We encourage our investors to take advantage of this time to engage with their elected officials and share any concerns or questions they may have. If you're unable to attend, you can always send your questions in advance to ensure your voice is heard."
During these in-person events, the legislators will have a chance to discuss the work they are doing on behalf of their constituents followed by a Q&A with questions from the audience. If any investor has questions for the guests, they are encouraged to ask them during the event, or they can be sent ahead of time to jana@growwabashcounty.com.
These Legislative Updates events are reserved only for Grow Wabash County investors. The update with Congressman Yakym will take place at 10 a.m. on April 22 and the update with Senator Zay and Representative Sweet will take place at 10 a.m. on May 7.
Both legislative events will be held in the Grow Wabash County community room, 214 South Wabash Street in Wabash.
These events are free and exclusively reserved for Grow Wabash County investors, but registration is required as space is limited. Registration for this event can be done by contacting Jana Thibos at jana@growwabashcounty.com or 260-563-5258.
