Wabash County, IN – The Young Professionals of Wabash County (YPWC) are excited to share that the YPWC Steering Committee is growing! The group recently added four new young professionals that will bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the committee.
“We’re thrilled to welcome these talented young professionals to the YPWC Board,” said Jana Thibos, YPWC Chair. “Each of them brings unique experiences and perspectives that will help us grow as a group and better serve our community. Their energy and ideas are exactly what we need as we continue building a vibrant network of emerging leaders in Wabash County.”
The new YPWC committee members include:
- Nick Krieg – Nick grew up in Wabash County and attended Southwood most of his life before transferring to Wabash his junior year of high school and graduating. His friends, family, and of course, his golden retriever, Cooper, are where he spends the majority of his free time. He believes the most important thing about him is how he would like to be remembered or thought of. When someone thinks of Nick, his goal is for the thought of a good, kind person to come to mind. He strives to be well-versed in a variety of things in life because he truly enjoys connecting with people and being able to make everyone feel like he’s truly engaged with them every time they have an interaction with him. For work, he takes pride in being a Realtor here in Wabash County who loves the art of providing all type of home buyers and sellers find their home here in Wabash.

Her background also includes coaching volleyball, teaching as an adjunct professor, and running a photography business. Because of her deep connection to the Wabash community, she loves spending time downtown, walking the River Walk, and rewatches of The Office, specifically to continue proudly holding her title as First Place Champ at the Speakeasy Trivia Nights!
The YPWC network has existed in various forms in Wabash County for years. The current generation of YPWC was launched in 2018 by Grow Wabash County, with the goal of creating opportunities for young professionals in the community to better network not only with each other but with the organizations and companies that stand to benefit from being connected to an engaged group of young leaders.
YPWC remains free for young professionals to join and begin networking with their fellow peers and emerging leaders. Those interested in being part of the network can do so by connecting with YPWC via email at yp@growwabashcounty.com or by RSVPing and/or attending any of the various social, educational and/or service events that YPWC hosts throughout the year.
