Wabash County, IN – The Wabash County community is invited to visit the L.I.F.E. Center on Friday, February 20, to participate in the unveiling of its new ultrasound machine.
“This new ultrasound machine represents a meaningful investment in the health and well-being of women and families in our community,” Jana Thibos, Investor Services and Events project manager at Grow Wabash County said. “The L.I.F.E. Center continues to provide vital services, and we’re grateful for their ongoing commitment to supporting families during some of life’s most important moments.”
L.I.F.E. Center is Wabash’s only pregnancy resource center. They offer free and confidential pregnancy tests, limited OB ultrasounds and a Mommy and Me Boutique offering clothing from preemie to 5T, diapers, wipes, shoes and other essential items a child may need for the first five years. L.I.F.E. Center has served Wabash and surrounding communities since 1984.
“We are honored to be the recipient of this live saving technology that allows women and families to see their pre-born children” Doug Shannon, board president, said.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the ultrasound machine will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 20, at 489 Bond St in Wabash. Guests are invited to stay following the ceremony for an open house to learn more about the L.I.F.E Center and its team.
