Wabash County, IN – The City of Wabash is about to have a new dining spot thanks to the arrival of the Hungry Heathen restaurant. Grow Wabash County and Downtown Wabash, Inc. invite the community to join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m.

“Being Wabash raised the dream of being a part of downtown is real,” Travis Davidson, owner, said. “We couldn't be more excited to provide the community with a different kind of dining option! Our goal is to watch families, couples and teens make The Hungry Heathen their go-to place to eat and enjoy memories.  We want to be the community restaurant. We never want to be stagnant, we want to let the community help build our vision so we can truly be what people are looking for.”

The Hungry Heathen's goal is to provide a family friendly dining experience that specializes in American food with a twist. Their goal is to always be an affordable food option that serves high quality dishes that exceed expectations.

Their menu will feature Smash Burgers, unique yet familiar entrees, homemade desserts. In addition, they will also host Fish Fry Night on Friday Nights and Saturdays will feature their home-smoked BBQ. The Hungry Heathen has the talents of two educated chefs on staff and proudly stand in the principle of being welcoming to all.

“We are beyond excited to have another family-friendly food option in downtown Wabash,” Jana Thibos, project manager for investor services and events, said. “With all different types of food options, there is something for everyone.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 12, at the Hungry Heathen, 256 S Miami Street in Wabash. Guests will be invited to stay after the ribbon cutting and sample some of the Hungry Heathen’s homemade BBQ.
