GWC, DWI to welcome Collective Creations to downtown community

Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County and Downtown Wabash, Inc. are thrilled to be teaming up to celebrate the opening of the Collective Creations on Friday, Aug. 2, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We are so excited to welcome Collective Creations to Downtown Wabash,” Jana Thibos, project manager for events and investor services. “This will quickly become a must-go place downtown for the whole family.”

Collective Creations, located in the former Eclectic Shoppe building on West Canal Street in downtown Wabash, brings together Homespun Vibes, HLC Studios and Kneadful Things under one roof for a unique shopping experience.  

"Downtown Wabash is excited for Collective Creations to join our vibrant downtown district,” Kristen Petruniw, executive director for Downtown Wabash, Inc., said. “With multiple local vendors being able to showcase their unique products, we believe that Collective Creations will bring a new energy to Canal Street."

"We are bringing unique vendors together to show off their Collective Creations,” Co-owner, Barbara Whitmer, said. “We are all about showcasing local artists and others who venture our way.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, at 42 West Canal Street, in downtown Wabash. After the ceremony, guests are encouraged to meet the vendors that make up Collective Creations and include them in their First Friday plans.
