Sponsored by Rea Logan & Company and Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, the Eagle Watching Trolley Tour will take place on Saturday, January 10, starting at 9 AM and is estimated to last 3 hours. The all-inclusive tour cost is $30 per person. Trolley No.85 will pick up and drop off at the Welcome Center. Join us for an adventure exploring the majestic eagles, their nests, and watch them soaring in the sky over Wabash County.
“Wabash County is fortunate to have incredible wildlife expertise, and Teresa Rody is a perfect example,” said Jennifer Long-Dillon, tourism manager for Visit Wabash County. “As the Interpretive Manager at the Salamonie Upper Wabash Interpretive Center, her deep knowledge of wildlife and exceptional tracking skills bring a whole new level of insight to this tour. I’m thrilled to showcase her expertise and grateful to have her be part of the Eagle Watching Tour.”
Start the morning off by meeting Jennifer at the Welcome Center, home of Trolley No.85, with a coffee and hot cocoa from Modoc’s Espresso Bar and Cafe. Hop on board Trolley No.85 and travel to Salamonie State Park to meet up with wildlife whisperer Teresa Rody. Use a sighting scope to view eagles and nests, explore the Interpretive Center while learning about these incredible birds, and discover the importance of protecting Indiana’s natural wildlife. Be sure to pack your camera and binoculars; there will be lots to see, and you don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to experience eagles in their natural habitat. The tour is limited to 34 people with an age requirement of at least 6 years old or older.
Trolley No.85 tour programs are supported by the City of Wabash, J.M. Reynolds Oil Company, and other local partners. For more information about this tour or for the full 2026 Trolley Tour lineup, go to VisitWabashCounty.com/trolley .
