Thursday, February 26, 2026
Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County invites community members to join in celebrating the outstanding academic achievements of Wabash County’s Class of 2026 at the annual Honor Student Luncheon on Thursday, April 9.
This year’s luncheon will recognize graduating seniors whose future plans span a variety of fields, including business, animal science, nursing, criminal justice, and other high-demand career paths. A special guest speaker will be announced at a later date.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to sponsor and attend the event as mentors. Participating mentors will have the opportunity to connect with students, share insights from their professional journeys, and discuss the experiences and opportunities that led them to build their careers in Wabash County.
“Every year brings a new graduating class, meaning new opportunities for Wabash to attract and retain local talent,” Chelsea Parson, project manager for development and marketing, said. “Every year these students are surprised by just how many career opportunities there are for them in Wabash County. We hope that once they have gotten their education and decide what’s next that they will keep their hometown in mind.”
As part of the event, students will hear from industry professionals who will share insights on launching successful careers and discuss the advantages of building a future in Wabash County.
Local businesses, colleges, universities and employers interested in sponsoring students and showing your support for the next generation of talent in Wabash County can do so by registering online or by contacting Grow Wabash County by emailing Jana Thibos at jana@growwabashcounty.com or calling 260-563-5258.
