Wabash County, IN  – Grow Wabash County is adding a Manchester University Spartan to its team for the summer, welcoming Justin Scott as the organization’s intern for Summer 2026.

Justin Scott is an incoming senior at Manchester University majoring in Sports Management, Marketing, and minoring in Digital Media. He hails from Idaville, Indiana where he graduated from Twin Lakes High School as a three-sport athlete.

“We are excited to welcome Justin to the Grow Wabash County team this summer,” said Tenille Zartman, President & CEO of Grow Wabash County. “Internships like this provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that help students build skills while also adding value to our organization and community. We are especially grateful to Manchester University and the Community Foundation of Wabash County for partnering on a new summer initiative that allows nonprofits to access grant funding to support intern wages. This program creates more opportunities for students to gain experience locally while strengthening the capacity of our nonprofit sector.”

After college, Justin plans to secure a marketing position where he can use all of the skills he has learned during his time at Manchester University and various past work experiences. Regardless of whatever opportunity he decides to pursue, he is confident in his skills and abilities to become a valuable asset to any team.

During his summer internship with Grow Wabash County, Justin hopes to gather and gain new knowledge and work with the Grow Wabash County team as they continue their mission in growing Wabash County.

Grow Wabash County is a strong supporter of internships and truly believes that the connections made between students and employers during these internships are invaluable to both parties.
