Grow Wabash County Partners With CFWC, Questa To Highlight Education Funding Options

October 5, 2021

WABASH COUNTY, IN – Grow Wabash County will be hosting an informational Lunch and Learn event for local employers and education partners on Friday, Oct. 29, to share information about opportunities for Wabash County students, of all ages and backgrounds, to receive financial support for post-secondary education.

Grow Wabash County will be joined by Questa Education Foundation and Community Foundation of Wabash County for this informational session to discuss the various programs they have organized to connect students with the necessary funding to pay for schooling.

“One of the greatest barriers to further education are the financial resources to make it possible,” Elizabeth Bushnell, executive director of Questa, said. “Investing in local students makes college dreams a reality and helps our region build the talent needed for economic and community growth.”

Bushnell will also highlight the resources that Questa has to assist local employers with finding the right talent to fill open positions at their companies.

This Lunch and Learn event will take place on Friday, Oct. 29, from noon – 1 p.m. at the Grow Wabash County office, 214 South Wabash Street in Wabash. Attendance for this event will be free, but registration is required as lunch will be provided through Questa’s sponsorship.

Registration can be done at www.growwabashcounty.com/questalunch or by contacting Grow Wabash County at marketing@growwabashcounty.com or at 260-563-5258.
