Alley Cat Outfitters to celebrate new adventure in Wabash County

    June 1, 2023

Wabash County, IN  – Whether by foot, by bike or by boat, Grow Wabash County invites the community to join us in welcoming Alley Cat Outfitters to the Wabash County business community at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 20.

“Alley Cat Outfitters is a place to help the continued growth of outdoor recreation in our community,” Luke Kalbfell, owner, said. “I am excited to share my passion for these activities. Whether it is riding down the Wabash River Trail or exploring around the reservoirs, we want to support your next adventure!”

Located in downtown Wabash just off the Wabash River Trail, Alley Cat Outfitters is a new retailer providing quality camping, cycling, apparel, bike servicing, rentals, and more. Their mission is to foster the growing outdoor recreation community in Wabash County and to encourage people of all ages and abilities to enjoy time together in nature.

“Wabash County is proud of its local amenities that have provided hours of fun, exercise and adventure to not only our community but to the many visitors that seek out our parks, reservoirs and trails every year,” Keith Gillenwater, president and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “Alley Cat Outfitters is going to be a fantastic resource for this thriving recreational culture in Wabash County not only with the products and services they plan to offer in the shop, but with their engagement in the community to encourage people to get out there and enjoy everything Wabash County has to offer.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will start at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, at Alley Cat Outfitters, 100 Berry Street in Wabash. Guests will be invited after the ceremony to browse the store and learn about all of the great ways to enjoy the outdoors in Wabash County.
