Harrison to lead Seasonal Planning business workshop

    March 21, 2024

Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County and Angela Harrison are once again teaming up to provide local entrepreneurs and small businesses with another engaging educational event, this time focused on seasonal planning.

On Wednesday, May 1, Harrison will lead the interactive Seasonal Planning Workshop to talk about how to best to prep and plan for whatever is in store for local businesses for the rest of the year and even well into the future.

“Each quarter seems to fly right by, and you wish you had anticipated being better prepared for the next season, sale, or staffing needs," Harrison said. “You thought about what you wanted or needed to do, and you wished you had actually planned ahead instead of just making do or getting by. On May 1st, we'll be hosting this in order to think strategically about the remainder of 2024, and beyond. Join us for this interactive workshop to plan strategically and execute with confidence.”

Harrison has an extensive background in the world of business and entrepreneurship, especially in the areas of retail management and community development. Her experience in education also shines through as she works in her current role as a coach for the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), where she mentors entrepreneurs and business owners at all stages in their business journey to start and maintain their businesses.

"Our partnership with Angie and the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC) has been such an incredible asset not only to Grow Wabash County but to the many entrepreneurs and small business owners that have received guidance, support and resources from them to help start or grow their own business ventures right here in Wabash County,” Chelsea Parson, project manager for development and marketing, said. “We hope to continue to provide workshops like this that feature excellent and skilled speakers ready to help the Wabash County business community succeed.”

The Seasonal Planning Workshop will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the Grow Wabash County community room, 214 South Wabash Street in Wabash. Attendance to this event is free, but registration is requested as space is limited.

Registration for this event can be done online here or by contacting Jana Thibos at jana@growwabashcounty.com or 260-563-5258.
