June 3, 2024

Wabash County, IN – Grow Wabash County would like to welcome Manchester University student, Catherine Ondrla, as the organization’s newest intern for summer 2024.

Catherine is a student at Manchester University studying both Business Management and Marketing. She will be a senior this coming academic year. While her hometown is currently Warsaw, Indiana, Catherine is a proud Squire alum, having graduated from Manchester High School in 2021.

In addition to her studies, Catherine is also involved in her campus community as a member of the Manchester University volleyball team and as part of the Gilbert College of Business Club’s Marketing Committee.

She hopes to gain real life knowledge and experience in the world of business and community development during her summer internship and is looking forward to creating networks and connections that will serve her well in the future.

"We are very excited to have Catherine join us from Manchester University this summer,” Chelsea Parson, project manager for development and marketing at Grow Wabash County, said. “She brings a great energy and unique insight to the work we do every day to support our business community. We look forward to seeing and sharing all of the great work she will do for us and Wabash County this summer!”

As part of her internship with Grow Wabash County, Catherine will be providing support for the organization’s various marketing campaigns and investor events. She will also be leading the marketing efforts for the Young Professionals of Wabash County group and participating in visits and projects that will help the Wabash County business community thrive and grow.
